Well I thought I would treat myself today and this is what I came across.  The one I was looking at did not have my color so....long story short...what do you think? Yea or Na? Comment below.  Happy Friday the 13th folks!

Thursday Inspiration Outfit of the Day

This outfit really inspired me.  It's casual and it could be worn just about anywhere.  If your job has casual days, this would be perfect to wear on those days.  I will try to collaborate these inspired outfits weekly.  Will you do the same?  Let's see if we can find these items in our closet rather than going out spending any unnecessary money.  Notice the pop of color in the necklace.  Orange and red both look beautiful with leopard prints.  

Sunday Neutral OOTD Inspiration

Today I was inspired with this outfit.  We had casual church services on today so this outfit is something I would have worn today.  I do not have those exact items but I'm sure I can find something in my closet that would come close to this as well as look just as chic.  If you look in your  closet, I'm pretty sure you would find something similar as well.  I'll post a similar outfit and tell you the cost of everything on Monday.

5 BASIC BAGS EVERY WOMAN NEEDS

Previously I did a blog on 5 luxury bags that I recommend to do a little splurging on.  Now this blog is for the divas on a budget.  I'm not going to throw names out there, I'm just going to give you colors you need to look for when shopping this season.

1. brown
2. black
3. ivory
4. beige
5. hot pink/red

These colors will go with everything in your wardrobe.  When looking for good handbags, if you love big handbags, look for the ones with lots of storage.  Steer away from bags with lots of designs as they can take away from whatever you are wearing.  Handbags are an accessory to accent your wardrobe not take away from it.  Plain leather handbags are the best option when looking for an all around every day purse.  

5 DESIGNER HANDBAGS YOU SHOULD SPLURGE ON

Recently I was looking through some articles on the current purses/handbags customers are bragging about and I came up with the top 5 handbags that had the most reviews.  So if you plan to look for a luxury handbag for this upcoming season, continue reading.

1.  Tony Burch (light oak).   Leather tote bag $295.  Every female should have this color handbag in their collection.  It's more of a fall color as well as summer and spring color.  This is why I picked this one; it could be worn year round.  Totes are classy and stylish and practically go with everything.

2.  3.1 Phillip Lim Satchel Bag (black).  Of course black goes with everything so I had to pick a black inexpensive designer bag.  $650.  This bag comes with several compartments for extra storage for your things.

3.  Tony Burch (leather tote).  (camel color) Hot color.  The new black.  Goes with everything.  $295.  Holds a lot of stuff and a nice size.

4.  Grey Givenchy Satchel Handbag.  $1965.  Grey is a fall color however it can be used year round.  I had to find a purse that is gray because it would look great with numerous things.  It is a nice size.  Most of your wardrobe will have some grey in it.  

5.  Hot Pink (Michael Kors Satchel).  $328  Last but not least...Hot pink is a hot color.  Especially if you want to add a little pop of color to anything you will be wearing year round.  Nice size satchel with lots of storage and by far has an affordable price for all us frugal folks.  

All About Stripes

I love stripes! Back in the day I would have never said that.  I'm still not really a stripe wearing person, however if the stripes are horizontal, you sold me.  I just think since I'm tall and slender built that vertical stripes make me look taller.  Here's a rule when wearing stripes though that I must bring to everyone's attention.  When you wear horizontal or vertical stripes from head to toe you look like you just came from the Parish Prison.  Unless you have a striped dress...please do not wear stripes from head to toe.  You can mix stripes with other prints such as polka dots however, be very careful because you can look like a clown too.  Stay tuned for my next blog where I will discuss more stripe fashion rules.  ☺
