- Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and some baby shampoo. You can also use dishwashing liquid.
- Swirl your brushes in the bowl. If your brushes have metal handles be very careful that it does not sit in the water in the bowl for too long. You know that water and metal causes rust. Fill the bowl up to the metal part.
- Rinse the brush tip under running water. Repeat steps 2 an 3 until clean.
- Gently squeeze out the excess water with a paper towel and reshape brush head.
- To prevent mildew, let your brushes air dry by hanging off the edge of the counter.
